JOIN THE CREW
We don’t list guides. We build crews.
A hand-picked team of fishing guides in every destination. If your waters are exceptional, we want to hear from you.
Not a travel agency
Most platforms list as many guides as they can. We do the opposite. In every destination we work with a few guides we know personally, have fished with, and trust with our clients. People who have made guiding their profession and treat it as a craft. We don’t resell your days: we build them with you.

How we work together
We shape the itineraries with you, match them with the right anglers, and take care of bookings, payments and client support before and after the trip.
On the water, you lead. Off the water, we plan the season, share feedback and manage every outing together, as one team.
“We only work with guides we’d book for ourselves”
Why join the crew
We organize, you guide. Perfectly complementary, never competing.
Zero back office
Bookings, payments, client communication, logistics: all on us. Zero back office for you. You do what you do best, on the water.
Your day, planned
Every confirmed trip lands in your Rod Society guide app with everything you need to plan the day: who’s coming, their level, gear sizes, expectations, meeting point. No chasing emails or WhatsApp threads.
Confirmed anglers only
We talk to every client before you do: we answer their questions, set honest expectations, and only send you trips that are booked and paid.
Paid after every trip
No invoices to chase, no waiting until the end of the month. The trip is done, you’re paid.
The world’s largest crew
We’re building the world’s largest crew of independent guides, a few per destination, chosen one by one. You keep your independence and your local business; we bring you the anglers who travel the world to fish
Your waters, told well
We invest in your waters: we come to fish with you, shoot photo and video, and share your story with the anglers who follow us, at international fairs and on every channel.
What we look for
We say no more often than yes. Our clients trust every guide we put forward, so we choose carefully.
Love for the water
Catch and release, always. For us it’s non-negotiable.
Leave no trace: no nylon in the river, no waste left behind.
Respect for the fish, the river and the people who live along it.
A guide and a teacher
Deep knowledge of your waters, built over many seasons.
The confidence to read the day and decide where to fish.
Patience with beginners and partners who’ve never held a rod, and respect from experts.
Good taste
Gear that’s right for the water and up to today’s standards.
Licenses and everything else ready before the clients arrive.
A lunch worth remembering: local food, cold drinks, a proper setting. A great lunch can save a slow morning.
Local roots
You live in the place you guide, and you know its stories.
Local producers, local restaurants, local knowledge.
Licensed and insured where your local rules require it, and fluent enough in English to guide international anglers.
What it is not
Not a listing where you are one of hundreds.
Not a race to the lowest price.
Not a one-off: we look for long-term partners.
Not a hand-off: we stay involved in every trip.
Not for everyone, and that is the point.
In remote waters, the lodge is the trip. That’s the place we work with lodges, and only one per destination: waters too far for a day trip, where where you sleep matters as much as where you fish.
We look for owner-run lodges where the guiding lives up to the water, the hospitality lives up to the guiding, and the team cares for the river as much as for the guests.
We bring anglers who know exactly what they’re coming for, tell your story to the people who follow us, and handle everything until they land. You take it from there.
Our Team
Three people who actually fish. Sixty guides we'd trust with our own rods.

Andrea
Founder & Itinerary Scout
Andrea has been fly fishing since the age of six. Before Rod Society, he spent a decade building some of Europe's most ambitious tech companies then traded the boardroom for the riverbank and never looked back. He has fished on five continents, and his conviction that fishing travel deserved something better is what started it all.
His favorite itineraries?
The Nahuel Huapi in Patagonia, the limestone streams outside Naples, and the remote backcountry rivers of New Zealand's South Island.

Melissa
Social Media Manager
Melissa started her career as a psychotherapist, then fly fishing got in the way.
Influencer, artist, and genuinely exceptional angler, she is the creative mind behind everything Rod Society puts out on social. If you've ever sent a DM on Instagram, she's the one who replied.
Her favorite itineraries?
The French Pyrenees for euro nymphing, and the Dolomites when the dry fly fishing is on.

Georgia
Fishing Travel Manager
Georgia grew up chasing striped bass on the New England flats, but eight years living in London gave her fishing a whole new geography. She worked her way across Europe's finest rivers from the chalk streams of the Test to the marble trout waters of Slovenia’s Soča River. She now manages the logistics and travel planning behind every Rod Society trip.
Her favorite itineraries?
Slovenia and western Ireland hunting big trout
