Our goal has always been to create unforgettable fishing days by combining everything the local area has to offer. And that’s exactly what we do here: we take a remote valley in the Dolomites, have you reach it with a 30-minute mountain bike ride, and let you fish in pristine spots, crystal-clear streams, green meadows, wild horses, and… wild trout, of course.
It’s not an itinerary for everyone, it’s for those who don’t just want to fish but want to spend a beautiful day outdoors, exploring the wonders of the region and casting dry flies to trout that have rarely seen one before.
It’s also a great day out for those who don’t fish. They can ride bikes, hike through stunning alpine valleys, and enjoy a delicious mountain lunch.

Daone is a small alpine village nestled in the Trentino region, known for its wild landscapes, mountain streams, and quiet valleys. It’s the perfect gateway to explore hidden fishing spots and bike trails deep in the heart of the Dolomites.
Catches & Tecnique for Fly Fishing Dolomites
Our favorite technique for this itinerary? A short, slow-action rod - almost like fiberglass - a 3-weight line, and big terrestrials. Fish here aren’t particularly picky, as they have a pretty short window to feed, so even large flies will do the trick.
What really matters, though, is your approach: slow, stealthy, panther style. These fish aren’t used to human presence, and it doesn’t take much to spook them.
The fish? Wild brown trout, char, and brook trout. All 100% wild. The menu is set.
